This past week was a very busy one in our classroom! We had soccer shots, computer pals, a field trip and a birthday party!
The kids had a great time on their field trip to the fire station and got to get up and sit in the fire truck, pushed some buttons and got to see one of the fire fighters in their full turn out gear.
Grandpa Jack was very surprised and excited about his surprise party! He does so much for our classroom and the kids love playing with him and we think the world of him!
We started working on letter Nn, number 12 and the rhombus shape but with all our other things going on we didn't get much time to work on them so this week we will continue with Nn, 12 and the rhombus shape.
Our Halloween party is Friday, October 27th in the Fellowship Hall. I still need lots of volunteers to help set out food and manage games and clean-up. We will have approximately 8 activities going on and I will need at least 1 person for each activitiy, two for the craft table.
We also need bags of wrapped candy to put in the candy buckets at each game.
I will have a party food list out this week on Monday.
The kids can wear costumes if they want but please bring a change of clothes they can get in easily themselves.
If your child does attend school on Friday's they are welcome to come as long as an adult accompanies them and stays for the duration of the party.
Please make sure your child has a complete change of clothes in their cubby
Please make sure water bottles come in filled with water and labeled each day with your child's name and the current date
Unless it is your child's leader day, please leave toys at home.
