Whew! We have had a busy few days so far this week! We have read a few fun books about monsters and made our own clay monsters. We painted them and added feathers, googly eyes and chenille sticks (we called them pipe cleaners back when I was in school!). We also made handprint monsters and did a science experiment with food coloring and water. Today we made the water turn green, purple and orange. Afterwards the kids took turns adding a few drops of food coloring to see what would happen and in two of the three bottles the water turned brown. The kids have been doing a great job signing their name in their sign-in binder in the mornings and also with our words of the week. They really enjoy writing on the white board and their letter developments have all improved! Yay!

 Luckily this week we have been able to get outside in the morning and in the afternoon to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air!

We have made a correction to our leader calendar, as February 20th we are closed in observance of President's Day.  On February 28th, Eli will be the leader.

one bottle stayed green, one turned dark brown, like Coca-Cola and the third one was purple-ish brown.
