This week we will be combining with Mrs. Lovenda in her classroom. Because it is spring break week for the public schools and a lot of our children have older siblings or parents that are teachers, we will have less than 12 kids together. We have some fun activities planned along with a really cute spring craft for the kids to make!
I am not doing a leader calender for this week, but will resume one next week.
Upcoming Events:
- Mother's Day Tea Party: Thursday, May 8th in our classroom at drop-off time.
- I will be off all day on May 9th. Ms. Tempie will be covering me this day.
- May 23rd: Graduation Luncheon for parents of graduates. The luncheon will be held in the Fellowship Hall from 11:30 to 1:00 p/m. You are welcome to take your child home after the luncheon and get them ready for graduation.
- May 23rd: Dismissal time for our graduates is 3:00 p/m. Please sign out your child by 3:00 p/m so we can all get ready for graduation! :)
- May 23rd: Graduation in the Sanctuary at 6:00 p/m. Please drop your child off in our classroom by 5:30 to help them get on their cap and gown.
- After graduation, please wait to pick up your child in our classroom. It gets very hectic and crowded in the hallways outside the Sanctuary and for the ease of confusion I will be taking the children back to our classroom. You may sign out your child and take them outside or the hallway for pictures but afterwards, please return the caps/gowns to our classroom.
- An ice cream social in the playground area will follow the graduation ceremony.
If you have any questions regarding the above information or anything else, please don't hesitate to ask! This time of year a lot of information is given out and I know it can get confusing. :)
