Even though we had less kids this week, we still had a lot of fun! We played outside, dragged out several sandboxes and the water table, painted and created and had a good time!
This week we will be working on letters Ee and Mm, the numbers 16 and 17, the sight word Red and the circle shape. We will also do some ten frames, the estimation jar and will be getting out the water table to play in! Mother's Day is around the corner and this week we will be starting on our very special Mother's Day gifts! We will also be learning about England, which means I finally get to bring in the box of gifts from my friend in England! Friday will be our formal tea party with scones w/lemon curd, Eaton Mess and digestive biscuits. Our party will be in the large Sunday School room down the hall from our classroom. If you would like, your child can dress a little more "formal" for our tea party!

Picture Money: All money for pictures is due by April 15th. If you order them online, please bring me the code that is given to you and take home the # of sheets you ordered.
Friday April 17th: Tea Party for the kids
Wednesday May 6th: Mother's Day Tea...drop in event in our classroom that morning when you drop your child off. We will have treats and your child will have a special gift for you!
May 7th and May 8th: I will be out of the classroom these two days. My oldest son is graduating with his Master's Degree from the University of Charlotte!
May 22nd: Graduation at 10:00 in the Sanctuary. A reception will follow and afterwards you are welcome to take your child with you or have them stay with us. We will be open until 6:00 p/m.
May 25th and May 26th: We will be closed for Memorial Day and a Teacher Workday.
May 27th: We re-open this day for our summer session
