April 29 2018

Good morning! What a beautiful weekend we are having! It's hard to believe that this week will be the end of April and the beginning of May! Time goes by so fast anymore! My daughter in law is now 26 weeks pregnant and my grandson weighs a little over 2 lbs and has long legs. Looking at the 3-D ultrasound pics he looks like his dad, but time will tell! It won't be long before he arrives into this world!

We have a fish in our classroom! His name is Henry and he is a beautiful shade of dark blue! He is gorgeous!

This week we will be working on letter Qq and going backwards to number 10 and the diamond shape. We have some fun books to read and some books for the kids to read with me and we will be working on fine motor skills, literacy and math in our small group.

If your child does not have a complete change of clothes, from head to toe, in their cubby,  please bring some clothes and socks, underwear and shoes this week. We have a very limited supply of clothes in the back room and we do not keep shoes on hand. If your child's clothes and/or shoes get wet and there is nothing for them to change into, we will have to call you to either come get your child to take them home or bring them clothes and shoes. We have provided plastic shoe box size boxes in every child's cubby for their spare clothes to go in and we have a handful of those boxes that are empty and need them to have clothes in them this week, please.

Please make sure your child has what they need for rest time...blanket, small pillow and stuffed animal.

If you have not signed the photo release form and the form saying you read the parent handbook, please do so A.S.A.P.

I will be out this Thursday and Friday and heading to Greensboro to help our youngest son pack up all the stuff from his dorm room and get it home. It is going to be 86 degrees that day...I am going to melt! Mrs. Sandy and Mrs. Meredith are covering me Thursday morning/afternoon and Miss Miranda is covering me on Friday.

Have a wonderful week!

...Mrs. Wendy
