The end of October is creeping up on us! This week we are finishing up our fall/Halloween related crafts and learning activities. Monday, the 31st is our Trunk or Treat. After the Trunk or Treat, we will have our classroom party. If you haven't signed up to bring something to the party and would like to, the sign up sheet is located on the glass window near our classroom door. If you would like to give $1 towards the cost of the pizzas, you can give it to Mrs. Lovenda (first thing in the morning), me or Mrs. Jennifer.

I know it is only Tuesday, but we have already gotten a lot of things accomplished. We made bats, which are hanging above the fingerpaint pumpkin pictures the children made, made circles, triangle, squares and rectangles out of play doh on shape mats, examined gourds with a magnifying glass, did a math activity finding out which set of items has "fewer" items, did a language actitvity with rhyming words, built castles with the blocks and worked on letter O. Below are a few pictures of the kids in action. I found that if you click on a blank square where a photo is supposed to be, the photo should appear, hopefully. Sometimes the photos show up and sometimes they don't. I haven't found the rhyme or reason as to why certain ones appear and others do not.
