Wow! We had another busy day in the classroom! After enjoying some fresh air outside, we made our paper plate pumpkin pies. The children painted white paper plates with orange paint and then sprinkled pumpkin pie spice mix on the painted plates! Mmmm...they smelled good! Some of the children also enjoyed the spider web counting game by rolling two dice, adding up how many dots were showing and then putting that number of "spiders" (black pom-poms) on a picture of a spider web. Tomorrow we are going to attempt to make mummies..keep your fingers crossed that the project goes well!
If you are going to be decorating your car for our trunk or treat, set up will be around 9:30 in the morning in the upper parking lot (where the basketball hoop is located). The classrooms will start trunk or treating around 10:00 in the morning, with our class coming at 10:30. Our pizza party will be soon after the kids are done. If your child normally goes home before lunch, we want them to be able to stay and enjoy the party with us if possible.
