Where did the weekend go? I blinked my eyes and it's already Sunday afternoon! Even though it was a bit chilly, it was another beautiful weekend! Did you see the snow flurries Saturday morning? Tomorrow is the last day of October..before you know it, Christmas will be here!
Tomorrow is our Trunk Or Treat day. Set-up starts at 9:30 and the kids will come outside starting at 10:00. Our classroom will be outside at 10:30. Soon after the trunk or treating, our class will be having our pizza party and those children who normally go home at noon are more than welcome to stay and finish the party with us.
Because tomorrow may be a bit crazy, we may be sending home the Raising A Reader bags on Tuesday. If you do not see a red book bag in your child's cubbie, please know that we will get them sent out on Tuesday.
Please have your child only bring a toy in from home if it is their leader day. Toys brought from home can not be played with at school and can get lost and broken. As always, they can bring a doll or stuffed animal for nap time.
Cold season is upon us...please keep helping your child learn how to blow their nose! Also, a few other things to keep working on are buttoning and zippering, putting on their coat and tying shoes.
Friday, November 18th will be our Thanksgiving feast in the Fellowship Hall at noon. Our class will be pilgrims and will need to wear black or navy blue if possible that day if possible. Bring your appetite...Mrs. Vicki always cooks up an amazing meal for us!
This week we will be busy starting our Thanksgiving decorations for the tables for the Thanksgiving feast, finishing up our fall leaves that we painted on coffee filters and reviewing the Bible verses we have learned these past few weeks.
I hope everyone had a great weekend and I can't wait to get this new week started!
Mrs. Wendy
